When a player is grinding in cash games in Points Rummy, the formula is pre-decided with respect to rupee value. The winner of a rummy game grabs the entire sum, which is lost by the other rummy players on the table. Take a look below:

Winning Cash = (Sum of all points earned by the opponents) X (Rupee value of all the points in play) - Rummy Operator Fee.

Take a look at the example below:

Assume six players are grinding on the ₹860 table in Points Rummy. Every point has a pre-decided value of ₹4. One player will be crowned as the winner and the other five players will ultimately lose the game. The points lost by the five players are as follows: 45, 78, 23, 20, 40 respectively. The winnings of the player who grabbed the title are calculated as follows: 4x (45+78+23+20+40) = ₹824. This sum, after the deduction of the rummy operator's fee will be displayed in the player’s account.

Calculating winnings in Pool Rummy

The winnings in Pools Rummy are calculated as below:

Winnings = (Entry Fee) X (Number of Players) - Rummy Operator's Fees

Take a look at the example below:

Players have to pay a fixed entry fee to participate in a tournament. This sum then forms the final prize pool of the event. If five players take part in a Pool Rummy game with ₹50 as entry fee, the final prize pool of the game stands at ₹250. The winner will grab 50 x 5 = ₹250 in prize money. This prize money will be credited to the player's account who won the tourney after a deduction of the rummy operator's fee.
